Cole Fabrics Plc provides the wholesale & manufacture of ribbons & associated textiles encompassing fabric pouches, tassels, elastic, cord & raffia products for clients worldwide.
Cole Fabrics Plc will comply with all relevant health and safety legislation to provide and maintain a healthy and safe workplace for employees, contractors and visitors.
Coles Fabrics has established and continues to maintain a safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health and is appropriate to our purpose, size and context of the organisation. Coles accepts its responsibility to provide a safe and healthy working environment and shall: -
- Providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for staff, contractors and visitors;
- Comply with, and where reasonably practicable, exceed the requirements of relevant legislation and industry standards, including focusing on the elimination of risk;
- Seek continual improvement in workplace health and safety whilst controlling risk;
- Communicating with relevant stakeholders about workplace health and safety;
- Eliminating hazards where practicable and continuously improve health, safety, and wellbeing standards;
- Consultation and participation of staff in HSEQ matters;
- Support, promote and follow health, safety and wellbeing standards and initiatives;
- Protect workers from reprisals when reporting incidents, hazards, risks, unsafe acts, or conditions by promoting a fair culture within the business;
- Supporting, promoting, and developing health, safety and wellbeing objectives and initiatives; and
- All employees are provided with such equipment, information, training and supervision necessary to implement the policy and achieve the stated objective.
This policy will be made available to any external stakeholder, on request, and will be communicated to all staff.
